Three generations of artists, in a room packed with intriguing canvases, and family drama.
The exhibition shows a selection of works by Jan Toorop, his daughter Charley Toorop, and her son Edgar Fernhout. The artists developed their own styles, but the expo also reveils analogies in their paintings.
Soft blue lighting – inspired by Edgars work – drops from above and envelops the entire room in a surrealist hue.
