From Autumn 2022 till Spring 2023 I was artist in residence at the Reinwardt Academy.
At the end I staged a festive salon during which I presented a 5 meter long surtout de table that I made during my research concerning stealing and apparent superficiality.
Furthermore my surtout was inspired by plants, Bruno Tauts Glass Pavillion, Solomon’s Temple, the stairwell of the Stedelijk Museum, Katsura palace, the Reinwardt building itself, Yasmin tea, and last but not least Patrick Swayze’s lift and everything I stole.
