Poste restante/Nan Goldin

Since the 60’s Nan Goldin’s work has confronted social taboos, as she documents her life and the lives of those around her. Her work is confrontational and real, hiding nothing from the viewer, exposing the complicated and emotional nature of human relationships.

Goldin’s work is shown in an abstract urban landscape. Inside 4 anonymous black cubes her slideshows are looping, only separated from the central corridor by a thin screen of glittering silver. It isn’t exactly clear if the visitor is merely a visitor, or in fact part of the drama.
