Canadian Inuit Art

In the light of Canada’s 150th anniversary celebration, Museum Volkenkunde in Leiden put on a gallery exhibition about the art of the Inuit.

For this occasion, the recent bequests from Hans van Berkel’s collection of Inuit art are presented alongside the loans from the private collection of H.R.H. Princess Margriet and Prof.  Mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven. SuopuLab together with Studio OTW designed this very special presentation. Evoking the typical landscape of the icy planes, we create a new horizon made of artifacts.
